Honey Bee Removal

Had an excellent weekend learning all about the Safe Removal of Honey Bees. I have been doing this for a couple of years now and I was self taught but this training has given me all the information and skills I need to carry out honey bee removal more professionally. Like everything you soon realise there are better ways to do stuff and I am constantly trying to improve on my skills when carrying out work like this. I can now say with confidence, we are able to professionally remove honey bees and re-home them in to a hive safely. All our bees that are removed are re-homed into a new hive from our list of bee keepers.

If you have a a honey bee nest that needs removal then if you call, we will arrange a survey. The survey is to establish the location of the bees, what equipment will be required to remove them such as scaffolding. Also we will consider how we can remove them safely and what work will be required before or after. We cant price the job until we know what will be involved. We can then arrange an appointment to do the removal.

Bee Swarm Removal

We carry out bee swarm removal of honey bees migrating from one location to another as well as honey bee nest removal. If you have ever experienced a bee swarm in movement it can be very daunting for the first time. They are however not interested in what you are doing, they are just trying to stay together as a group and move to a new location or home. Once they have settled it could be temporary so after a few hours move on. You have to way up whether to get them removed or leave them. they may however head for your chimney. Pest-Tech do carry out bee swarm removal and the bees go to a hive.

If you have a bee problem, we are able to help. Visit our page on Bees here.
